Heifer Project International (Thailand) is seeking qualified THAI national candidates for the position of

Temporary Accountant (4 months) : ¾¹Ñ¡§Ò¹ºÑ­ªÕ (ªÑèǤÃÒÇ)

1. Temporary Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • To entry all accounting transaction in AccPac accounting software.
  • To assist FO-Operations to perform physical count check of Fixed assets and gift shop stock in time line.
  • To prepare monthly report such as monthly advance report (HQ/staff and others advance).
  • To prepare bank reconciliation reports and petty cash summary/voucher.
  • To assist FO-Operations to verify advance clearing documents.
  • To assist FO-Program to audit project financial report of project partners and budget checking.
  • To assist the finance team to review and prepare documents to support internal audit, IRAP (Internal Review Audit and Planning) and external audit of HPT.
  • To perform other job-related duties as requested by finance staff.


Education and/or Experience:

Degree in Accounting required; plus at least one to three years experience; other job related education and/or experience may be submitted for all or part of these basic requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practice.
    • Computer proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail and internet (Microsoft preferred).
    • Fair of English skills.
    • Good in Thai – oral and written.
    • Excellent organizational skills including strong attention to detail.
    • Preference would be given to those with positive attitude with privilege people such as tribal people, lepers and people living with HIV AIDS etc.
    • Committed to high standard of accountability.
    • Motivated to work responsibly with little supervision.
    • Ability to produce accurate documents in a well designed and attractive format.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to meet and deal with others in a courteous and tactful manner.
    • Demonstrate a high degree of honesty and integrity.
    • Ability and willingness to work with flexible schedule.
    • Ability to foster and maintain a spirit of unity, teamwork and cooperation.
    • Sensitivity in working with multiple cultures and beliefs, and to gender equity.
